between Olusola oke and Tinubu A group, the Ondo rebirth network (ORN) has

El-Rufai a serial betrayer The purported deal, according to reports
borders on the sharing of political positions if
Oke emerges as the next governor of the
state. But the group in statement by its publicity
secretary, Olufemi Lawson, described the
report of the purported deal between chief
Olusola oke and the duo of Ogbeni Aregbesola
and Tinubu as false, Daily Post reports."Let it be noted for the records that
Aregbesola and Asiwaju Tinubu are still
leaders of the all Progressive Congress (APC)
and not members of the Alliance for
democracy (AD) where chief Olusola oke is
the candidate. May we at this point confidently say that this report
is just one of
the numerous beer parlor induced campaign
of calumny that the Ondo State chapter of the
APC has been engaging in, over the past few
weeks since they could no longer match up
with the massive acceptability of chief Olusola oke and his continually rising
popularity among the electorates in Ondo
State," the group said. The ORN accused the Akeredolu campaign of
preoccupying itself with petty issues such as
sharing of political positions for an office that
no one has been elected into, rather than
focusing and Marketing their candidate who
has been rejected by even their party faithful in Ondo state The group
called the people of ONDO state to
disregard this report which it said only
"exist in the wildest imagination of the
drowning opposition". Recall that This Day reported that a top
candidate in the November 26, Ondo election
had moved quickly to finalize plans in a bid to
succeed Olusegun Mimiko as the next
governor of the state. According to report some of the top
candidates in the upcoming election, have intensified horse trading
and power-sharing to shore up support for their aspirations, 8
days to the electoral contest. The report further stated that that former
Lagos state governor Asiwaju Bola Tinubu,
had sealed an alleged power sharing deal
with the candidate of the Alliance for
Democracy (AD), Chief Olusola Oke, with
Governor Rauf Aregbesola allegedly in the know.
