Aircraft Carring Nigeria Pilgrim Develops Engine Failure After 3 Attemps To Take Off

545 Muslim pilgrims from kebbi state were left total shock early this morning after a boeing 747 model aeroplane with the registration number of  N5-MBB belonging to max Air which was suppose to carry the pilgrim  to saudi arabi developed a technical problem after 3attempts to take off from Ahmadu |Belllo Sarduana International Airport in Birnin Kebbi. One of the pilgrim who spoke to our correspondent said the incident happen at exactly 1:30am today.

''one of the engine of the plane developed a technical fault after 3 attempts to take off from the airport. All the pilgrim in the plane where in complete and total shock and confusion as we ran off as soon as the emergency exit was open,'' he said.

Sani Dodo,the chairman committee on flight, kebbi state Hajj task force while confirming thye incident, said the pilot of the aircraft said the plane developed a mechanical fault.

''The pilot explained to us that one out of the three engines developed mechanical problem which they are making consultation on how the problem will be resolved. the pilot also give the advise that another flight should be brought to convey the intending pilgrims and the effected flight will be taken to Kano for repair.''

Thye Kebbi State govenment has made arrangement to provide another plane to convey the pilgrims to Saudi Arabia
